Not just a mileage log
Odoma Tracker is one of the most accurate automatic mileage trackers that runs on your phone — no dongle. Trips are detected and sorted into business and personal on their own, and your trip log (sõidupäevik) or report for your accountant or client is ready anytime.
Want to drive more economically? More safely? With maximum privacy? It's all here. The first product of an Estonian non-profit.

Three directions
Install the app. Save time on reports. Get more time to think about how you drive.
Trip start and end — automatic
One of the most accurate engines on the market, running with no dongle: it catches the start and end of every trip from your phone's signals, and tells driving apart from walking.
Logs and reports — minimal time
Trips sort themselves into business and personal, with distance and route. Receipts and reports go to your accountant or client as PDF — hours of your life saved.
Mindful driving
Every trip is a chance to improve how you drive — for fuel savings, for safety, for the planet.
Why you can trust it
We have no reason to misuse your data
Odoma Digipädevuse Selts is a non-profit. Privacy, an open methodology and free use aren't marketing — they're our legal form, written into the charter.
- GPS stays on your phone. Only numeric aggregates reach the server — no routes, no coordinates.
- No account, no ads, no third-party trackers. You're a random identifier, not a profile.
- We don't penalise, report, or restrict. The app informs and nudges — that's all.
- The leaderboard and research contribution are opt-in, and off by default.
- The methodology and thresholds are published — read them, challenge them, check them.
Does it actually work?
A modest, honest answer
We don't prove causation — but the per-driver data is unambiguous: those who stay past the first week raise their own score.
Driving style accounts for 10–30% of fuel use. Recovering 2.5–6.6% of that is the realistic goal — and it's backed by EU field trials (ecoDriver, GamECAR).
Questions & answers
Frequently asked questions
- What is Odoma Tracker?
- A free iPhone and Android mileage tracker from Odoma Digipädevuse Selts, an Estonian non-profit. It records car trips automatically, sorts them into business and personal, and produces a mileage log (sõidupäevik) and a compensation report for your employer or accountant.
- Does the app send my location to a server?
- No. GPS and motion data are processed on the phone only. The server receives anonymous numeric aggregates — average eco score, kilometres, CO₂ estimate, fuel type, country — never coordinates or routes.
- How are trips detected without a dongle?
- From the phone's own signals: motion and activity recognition, GPS and the car's Bluetooth connection. A trip starts and ends on its own, and driving is told apart from walking.
- Is Odoma Tracker really free?
- Yes. There is no account, no subscription and no advertising. The app is built by a registered non-profit and funded by donations; free use and privacy are written into its charter.
- Does it follow Estonian sõidupäevik and mileage-compensation rules?
- Yes. The app applies the Estonian tax-free rate (0.50 € per km, capped at 550 € per month per employer in 2026), exports a sõidupäevik PDF with every field EMTA requires, builds a proportional-use report for FIE (Form E) and e-mails the documents to your accountant in three taps. The country and rate can be changed in settings. Employers collect the logs of all their drivers in the Odoma dashboard.
- What is the eco score?
- A 0–100 driving-style score computed on the device from harsh acceleration, harsh braking and speed smoothness. It is feedback, not surveillance: nothing is reported to anyone, and the methodology and thresholds are published on this site.
- Which phones are supported?
- iPhone (iOS) from the App Store and Android phones from Google Play. Both versions are free and work without an account.
- I run a company with several drivers — how do I collect their logs?
- Each driver installs the free app and connects to your company with a code. Their business trips then arrive in the Odoma dashboard, where you approve them, calculate the compensation and export the documents for the accountant. The dashboard is a paid service with a 14-day free trial; the app stays free for the drivers.
For employers and teams
Several drivers? Every mileage log lands in one place.
Your drivers keep the free app. Their business trips arrive in the Odoma dashboard, where you approve them, the compensation is calculated under the 0.50 €/km and 550 €/month rules, and the accountant gets finished documents.
- A sõidupäevik for every driver, approved by you
- Receipts by photo, e-invoices, time on site
- By invoice, from 19 € per month + VAT · 14-day free trial
A non-profit project.
The project runs on donations from people who believe driving can be both smarter and cleaner. Every euro goes to the mission, not to dividends.
